Iris Chiang (2016-2017: Auroville, India) will work with sponsoring organization Sankalpa Art Journeys to support and expand community-based art and wellness initiatives across diverse populations. Her work will include individual sessions, themed group sessions, experimental community workshops, and training programs for teachers, counselors, and parents. In addition to her community engagement, she will conduct systematic psychological research examining indicators of self-esteem as reflected in participants’ artwork.
