Rae Hatfield was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She transferred to Belmont University in the fall of 2014 and graduated in December 2015. While at Belmont Rae majored in Social Entrepreneurship and studied abroad in London and Paris. Through her work with Nisolo and Warby Parker Rae fell in love with the eyewear industry.
Rae’s Lumos project is with VisionSpring located in Dwarka, New Delhi. Rae will be spending a year living in Dwarka, New Delhi, India but will travel between the seven states in which VisionSpring currently operates in. While in India, Rae will be building a technology infrastructure to connect the VisionSpring offices across India to their headquarters in New Delhi. Rae will also be re-branding VisionSpring’s retail locations.
