About Elisabeth

Elisabeth Moss
Hi there! My name is Elisabeth Moss, and I’m from Nashville via Indianapolis where I moved from in 2020 to study Songwriting and English at Belmont University.

I came to Belmont for songwriting, but I took a few introductory creative writing classes that revived my childhood dreams of being an author and gave me a new love for reading and writing. My English professors introduced me to the connection between writing and service, and I realized that I want to use my love and aptitude for writing to better the lives of those around me and to form connections with people I otherwise wouldn’t meet. This passion paired with my love of traveling (I studied abroad in Belfast and London during my time at Belmont, and I did a month long service project in Iceland) led me to LUMOS.

I will be the Project Coordinator for the Story Works, a small non-profit in the South of England devoted to uplifting kids’ voices through writing. I will be leading weekly workshops, managing volunteers, recruiting schools, updating the website and social media, and hopefully designing a new songwriting course.

I’ve always felt led to explore the art of storytelling through a service-based, global mindset, and I’m beyond grateful to Belmont and LUMOS for providing me with this opportunity.
